The Question. It started with me. I had always tussled with fitting in and belonging. I didn’t know what it looked like. As I wrote The Purpose of Getting Lost, I realized I had found belonging whenever I was on the move.
Since college, I had always been drawn to other cultures and what makes us different. But I’ve never been comfortable asking people about it. It feels intrusive. So I watch instead. And that is where this project started.
