Who Am I?

Author, traveler, seeker of belonging

Welcome! I’m Tracy Smith (formerly Sikorski), author of the forthcoming memoir “The Purpose of Getting Lost: A Story of Finding Myself.” Over the last 30+ countries and five continents, I’ve been chasing more than stamps in a passport — I’ve been searching for belonging, risk, resilience, and home.

At 50, I gave myself permission to choose courage over convention, and travel became my way of rediscovering myself. Through my stories, I invite you to reflect on your own journeys — the places, risks, and connections that shape who we are and where we feel we belong.
